International Retailmanager
Primary Job Function:
• To build and professionalize the brand and the business in Europe outside the Benelux for existing stores and new stores and maximizing turn-over and profitability.
• To initiate and manage new projects in order to improve and professionalize store operations structurally.
• To manage new store openings from beginning to final opening.
Key tasks:
• Improve and professionalize store operations structurally:
• Act as an in-house retail consultant, but specifically:
a. Provide expert advice and analyses on store operations
b. Establish the store control framework an robust basic processes.
c. Manager and leverage IT from retail’s perspective.
Ad a. Store operations
• Operational store -and personnel assessments
• Implementation of industry practices
• Customer service measurement and improvement
• Conversion rate assessment and improvement
• Labour management and scheduling solutions
• Workload / task balancing
• Functional schedules
Ad b. Store control
• Store dashboard
• Analytics with metrics and benchmarking
• Operational assessments
• Procedural documentation (“store operations manual” and back office processes documentation)
• Control of the right execution of all VM, work closely with the Visual Merchandiser and initiate training/support when necessary;
• Implement the brands service standards.
Ad b. Basic processes
• End of day procedures
• Gift voucher and credit note management
• Goods receipts processing
• Local and head office pricing
• Discount management
• Stock takes
• Store purchases and replenishment
• Building and professionalizing the Brand:
• Manage, control, coach and develop the Store Managers in line with the companies sales strategy;
• Responsible for the productivity of the stores; hiring and firing of Store Managers, support Store Managers with hiring and firing of shop staff (building a strong sales team);
• Optimise the hours schedules in collaboration with the store managers. Assist the HR department with the inflow, the promotion and the flow out of staff;
• Responsible for sick leave percentages;
• Assist Store Managers to crew meetings in the stores;
• P&L responsibility Exclusive Brand Store:
• Budget review on a weekly and a monthly basis;
• Helps to develop the sales strategy, commercial budget and the action plans to achieve these goals;
• Work closely with Buyer & Merchandiser to review margins;
• Follow the main developments in the retail markets responsible for and report these developments to the Manager Europe.
• Co-ordinating Exclusive Brand Stores & Outlets:
• Spoken and written report to the store management Europe, assist to the stores meetings in HQ and give daily visit reports;
• Look after the right coordination between admin, HR and Logistics in HQ.
The Area manager/Business Development Manager works directly with the European Retail Director, the Buyer, the Visual Merchandiser, the financial administration department, HR, to identify specific opportunities to synthesize the brand image.
Requirements:
• Higher education;
• At least 5 years management experience;
• International experience;
• Strong Motivator, Positive critical and stress resistant;
• People manger with organizational skills;
• Affinity with fashion;
• All Official Communication in Dutch and English;
• Analytical abilities and practical implementations. Great degree of undependability;
• Flexible, creative and full of initiatives;
• Public Speaking to Global Audiences in Dutch and English;
• Willing to travel frequently;
• Commercial insight in fashion retailing and feeling for future developments;
• Fluent in both Dutch en English. German, Italian, Spanish and French are additional assets;
• Driver license B.

Goal: To translate specific technical product information into:

Responsibility:
Is overall responsible for product development , in-external customer support regarding pricing, tooling, assembly and product training.
Reports to the Manager Expert Centre
Activities:
A Market
• Organises a product platform (2 x a year) to gather market info and development ideas, technical analysis and comparison of competitive products and systems
• To set up and maintain a market database
• To support the BU regarding new product introduction, including USP definition and prospect selection
• Supports COS in backorder processing
• Supports customers regarding technical/assembly/claim issues
B Product Development
• Co-ordinates the execution of new product development, this includes systems & Components, article specification and AGP.
• Develops the product plan, based on the BU’s input on the business model and rationale .
• Co-ordinates new collection development based on the BU marketing guidelines.
• Maintains the overall forecast administration and phasing in/out of collection articles, stock and GPROI management, according to BU guidelines.
• Delivers assembly manuals/software/training and assembly test market/ 0-serie.
• Responsible for tooling.
• Organises workshops on new products/features for BU’s & sales staff and provides input for installation instruction.
• Communicates product improvements, software releases and phase in/out policy to sales.
• Maintain a helpdesk function on technical and assembly issues and gives relevant feedback to BU.
C Pricing
• Provides and recommends sales pricing list, based on the BU selling prices
• Set up a cost price reduction program, responsible for RFQ and (standard) cost computation.
Requirements:
• Higher education;
• At least 3 years experience in this job;

• Autonomous;
• Initiating.
