Job description
The position is in charge of developing a vision for the future of the brand for Benelux, planning, defining and executing marketing and communication strategies, methods and actions, in order to achieve short, medium and long term sales objectives. The position reports to the Marketing Manager Benelux.
1. Develop a long term marketing strategy for the brand, aligned with the company strategic and business plan, in collaboration with the cluster Franchise Manager;
2. Plan, execute and monitor commercial strategies and activities, aligned with the plan.
3. Build competitive customer/ Benelux market knowledge (competitive intelligence) through a. executing market research (market development, marketing mix, sales execution), b. through knowledge sharing with the sales force, KA, customer & shop marketeers;
4. Develop and monitor sales forecasts aligned with the marketing; promotional & sales activities;
5. Follow up sales results in close collaboration with the key accounts, sales & customer marketeers, assess the effectiveness of the Plan and adjust where needed;
6. Manage the marketing budget for the concerned brand-;
7. Provide support to the sales team through analyzing requirements from the field, analyzing sales figures, integrating product tactics in the Sales Action Plans (SAP), developing educational events and organizing product cycle meetings;
8. Organize the continuous training of the sales force/KA on indications and product information;
9. Actively leads the benelux brand teams and collaborate cross unit.
Profile
Knowledge and experience
The ideal candidate has – A successful proven track record, preferably in marketing and/or sales -
A master’s university degree, MBA is a plus – 3 to 4 years of relevant business experience
